English 3000s - Trek the Lake District

Join the Meningitis Trust team and scale the eight highest peaks in England
within 48 hours, whilst raising vital sponsorship to help people affected by meningitis.
The Lake District is host to eight notable mountains above 3000ft and it is our aim to climb them all within a weekend. In order to avoid the usual weekend walkers and to make the most of the mountains, we attempt this challenge on a Friday and Saturday.
Before we set off, there will be a full briefing by our safety team,
who have supported the Trust’s Three Peaks Challenge for over 12 years.
If you have what it takes and want an alternative to the Three Peaks Challenge, then this is it!
The event is a real endurance test, with each mountain providing a mental a well as a physical challenge. The feeling of exhilaration on completion is worth every step!
We will provide all the support you need before, during and after the challenge, including:
